i suspect similar. i think that either way they have learned better behavior and won't be a bully as an adult.
i won't say that bullies always grow out of it (there is one from when i was in middle school who apparently got worse as he got older) but in my experience a lot of them do.

First, I’m expecting the trope of where the bully really chilled out since last time the main character met them but is still fully not willing to trust them no matter what. With maybe even the bully not realizing they did what affected them so badly.
Hay I’m not complaining if that’s what happens. Not sure what’s else there is to go, other than maybe the “yeah they’re still the same jerk” route, which I personally don’t like. If a bully is still awful, personally I like it going into the extremes and crazier.

Also, Silver I love you! That is my kind of woman.
I would make a “merry me” joke if my shipping of Red and silver wasn’t so intense right now!

Lastly, Yay! Satisfying pay off after waiting on more info on this.
