A reddish sun descended toward the horizon. Tall, orange, sandstone buttes threw long shadows across the desert landscape. On top one of these buttes Fluttershy and her flying mount rested. The chiffon yellow mare scanned the landscape for a while before turning and gently rubbing the beak of her giant flying mount. Softly Fluttershy cooed as she caressed her bill.

"There you go. Um, you're so good! Now! We just have a little ways to go, so lets be on our way. Okay?"

Then she sheathed her sword, and slowly climbed back on to the mount's saddle. The great beast let out a screech and flew off.

This was one of drawings I started during my recent Heavy Metal themed Picarto stream. Now during previous Star Wars themed streams I've drawn Fluttershy with various critters from the IP Link.

Well one of thing about the movie Heavy Metal is Taarna riding her flying mount, and since it's a critter I immediately thought of FLuttershy. Besides Fluttershy looks very nice in that outfit.
