I'm really trying to get in to Krita and doing so by trying out Vectors, in theory they're super awesome for maintaining shape and not having to worry about pixels n such,
in practice they are kinda hard to get lol. I've getting there tho! So have this Rhombulus with the wand I designed for him. I wanted his wand to look all magical girly and stuff, I also wanted to avoid having it look just like him turned into a wand but not be totally without some kind of relation to him, ergo the cute crowned snake wrapped around a shiny heart and acting as the handle!
This Wand design is of course up for change in the future lol. I do feel like its not what i truly want for him but just what i best can think of right now.

Funfact about me: Rhombulus is one of my most special fave characters. Of course if you go by his home show, star vs the forces of evil, that'd be a strange pick given his monster bigotry and you're mostly right, my only reasoning against that is I saw a different direction they could've taken his character, one that started in the original story in the show that quickly blossomed into this whole huge alternate universe thing, one where he and Heckapoo end up in an adventure quartet with Star and Marco and all kinds of awesome adventures and shit happens, along with Ludo and his henchmen going from adversaries to close allies with the quartet.
Because of all this thinking I got super attached to him.

The only reason I haven't posted any of him here, despite having drawn him tons, is cause for the longest time I've had this REALLY dumb "what if" in my head.
What if I could some how make a better reboot/spinoff/whatever and have it even be OFFICIAL? I don't want my weird horny art of him to potentially shoot that idea down!

More over the kind of story I dream of telling with him isn't something that would fly anyways with all these ceos and shareholders hello???
And so I shall enjoy my love for this somewhat obscure and poorly utilized character openly!

Yes i realize my dreams of Rhombulus grandeur are completely misplaced but i honestly just love thinking of fun epic shit with him, one day I'd like to make those ideas real and have others see the what i see in not only Rhombulus but these other characters(star, bufffrog, heckapoo, Omnitraxus, ludo, and more) that Disney is going to be happy to sit on for forever and do nothing with.
