Goryu was the Chinese Entry into the World Expo stolen by the Iron Alliance in Episode One and combated Red Baron as the Monster of the week in the 5th Episode of the Series: Smash the Mysterious Rocket Operation.
History
Goryu appears at the very start of the Episode, when it enters in contact with water, and with is Electromagnetic Whip destroys various Robots in the Hangar, and Deviler picks it for the next mission.
This include firing small rockets into the sky, which interrupted the joy ride in the country side of Ken, Mari and Daisaku; the former two proceed to investigate, while the latter reports to Chief Daigo of their finding, which concluded its an Rain Making Experiment, and Ken and Mari come under attack by Iron Alliance Robot soldiers. SSI and Kumano immediately deployed on site to help them out. The group defeats the villains, but the issue of what they intended to do remains a mystery, only for it to come too late from Kumano that the Goryu is attacking the city.
When SSI arrives, all they can do is watch and take cover from its missile barrage, while dealing with the Foot Soldiers. Ken leaves to rendezvous with the Red Baron, avoiding the ambushes of other Foot Soldiers, and the Goryu missile barrage while in his pursuit. Ken succeeds in getting on to the Baron and the Mechas battle, with Goryu unleashing the full might of its Missile Arsenal, while blocks the Baron Punch and repels it with its spinning Ponytail Whip.
The tide of the battle turns as Rain Clounds form, a product of the previous Rocket Launches at the start, and downpour falls onto the battlefield; now powered by the rain, Goryu begins to makes its signature move and spins, smacking at the Red Baron repeatedly, the impact of which causes malfunction in the Mecha and Baron is pinned to the side of a hill. Kumano even tries to provide cover fire to no effect, then the man start praying to the Gods in the heavens for salvation ...
And the holy Bastards seem to listen, because there is a clearing, robbing the Goryu of its power source, this allows Red Baron to recover and put a number on its opponent, repelling it with a few punches before disposing of Goryu with the Elec-Trigger.
Arsenal: When in contact with water Goryu's ponytail like whip at the back of the head called the Electromagnetic Whip, that spin while hitting and shocking its opponents; the power of its impact increase two-fold when in the presence of Rain Water. As a side bonus to this ability, Goryu could levitate when in the presence of rain and rotate around to strikes its opponent with its electromagnetic whip causing considerable devastation. As well, Goryu sport two cannons attached to the sides of its abdomen that fired projectiles.
Appearance: Had a general humanoid shape, largely light silver to its color scheme with a dark red square pattern adorning it on upper and lower body, and 5 sphere ornaments in its upper Abdomen – one big and four small ones. It also had claws for hands.. Interestingly, Goryu had a groan like squawk sound to its roar, as well, another that had the classical power on activation sound from Mazinger Z.
