Yeah, but I'm glad they didn't make it 3D the mistake a lot of companies are making is to rely on the 3D as a main gimmick to the game when it should really be a secondary note that complements the story line and game play. DS:O is fantastic with the story line and execution. Although a little bit of 3D could either ruin it or complement it. Axel nerded out >.<
If I didn't want the game in 3D, I'm sure this game would have looked just as good on the regular DS. We paid a premium, I paid a huge premium (250) dollars for a 3D experience. Sure, developers don't have to use it, but why the hell should I have bought the unit in the first place. Without unit sales, there are no devs.
See I paid 160. And I'm waiting for other games that will take advantage of the 3D (Animal Crossing, Kingdom Hearts, Professor Layton, Assassins Creed, and a few more I can't currently recall) Because of those games I'm content with the fact that the developers of DS:O decided to skip out on the 3D and release a decent game.
