Another in the series. The Xeraphandi are phoenix-based, and have a different mix of human and avian parts than the Aulians or Tenjônese - they have scaly avian arms and legs, feathered down to the elbows and knees, and also have tails that the other avian races lack, but their beaks are slightly flexible and have teeth inside (think "cartoon bird", essentially).

They're very big on exploration and crafting; Xeraphand is where the Adventurers' Guild started a century ago before it spread worldwide, and they're the ones responsible for most of Tessera's modern-seeming-but-magic-based inventions, like the "electric" lamp on the spelunking helmet there. The small cylinder next to it contains liquid chroma, which is refined out of dead monsters. The Adventurers' Guild isn't just for exploration - they're the energy suppliers to the world.
