i answered the door while several days off of the meds that let me control my left side and i wanted to make a silly doodle about it so i feel less weird about someone seeing me with my facial/left arm palsy and foot drop. i tried to make my facial palsy look similar to how it does in real life? my mouth tenses and pulls my lip down. it doesn't make me close my eye on that side but i often close it without noticing because i have a Lot more vision problems on that side so it's easier to think without it :P

i don't mind people seeing and recognizing me as disabled but it bothers me when i can't control how they see me as disabled. and believe me PJs with a twisty left side is never going to be my favorite.

(this is also a practice in posting things that i don't think are the best i can do, because if i only save the drawings that are my best, i'm limiting my growth and my self esteem)
