Here is a picture that I did as a way of celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Pokemon video game franchise, which is a picture of Pikachu standing on top of a Game Boy. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to draw a picture that I would be able to post in time for Pokemon Day after remembering that it is able to take place on February 27th, which happens to be the day in which the Pokemon franchise made its official debut in Japan back in 1996 (though it didn't actually come out internationally until September 1998), and I was feeling motivated to draw a picture involving Pikachu due to it being the mascot of the entire franchise while also being one of my favorite Pokemon characters that I still love, to which I decided to keep things rather simple for such an occasion due to how busy I've been with other things during that time. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Pikachu standing on top of a Game Boy while in kind of a surfing pose as if it's riding around on it, especially since the Game Boy happens to be the console that the games were originally released before coming out on every Nintendo handheld game console to come out over the years. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use an orange texture that is done in a kind of dynamic style, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding yellow stars in different sizes while adding some stylized text afterwards. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
