A gift i made for my Mother for her bday today. It's a New Zealand Fantail (known in Maori as "Piwhakawhaka"), it's her favorite bird, and also a fantail was the main character for the first children's book she ever published.

i kinda didnt notice too much till i finished it. i get into "painter mode" like when i used to paint traditionally instead of digitally. I just keep working and painting for hours unsure how it'll look, then at the end i'm like "wow. that actually came out okay" XD
