Decimus Aurillius is part of the Casso (their government's name) Deep Space Mining and Surveying Team. His heavy suit can protect him from the sheer cold or boiling hot temperatures and crushing gravity of uncharted planets in the hunt for raw resources.

Decimus himself is a perfect example of a calm, collected and pleasant delian male. He prefers to avoid conflicts altogether, but his ability to keep cool under pressure is second to none. He has a wife and an un-born son back on Delia.

During a sweep on an backwater planet, Decimus uncovers a sinister secret lurking in the shadows of vindictive power that twists his body and mind so forcefully he becomes null towards all feeling and becomes lost in this new consciousness.
