I live with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
For years, I was blamed for how I reacted, never for what was done to me.
I cried, begged for affection, and was told I was “too much.”
Therapy helped me learn not to explode, but it didn’t erase the pain of never receiving an apology—only blame.
If someone always holds you responsible for your reactions but never for their actions, it’s okay to walk away.
Sometimes you’re not the monster.
Sometimes it’s the one in front of you, through constant emotional abuse.

Durante años me culparon por cómo reaccionaba, nunca por lo que me hacían.
Lloré, rogué afecto y me dijeron que era “demasiado”.
La terapia me ayudó a no explotar, pero no borró el dolor de nunca recibir un perdón, solo reproches.
Si alguien siempre te responsabiliza por tus reacciones pero nunca se hace cargo de sus acciones, está bien alejarse.
A veces no sos el monstruo.
A veces lo es quien está enfrente, con sus constantes abusos emocionales.
