A bit of a vent piece that I've had floating in my YCH sketch folder for...actually about a year.
Just..kinda tired of the same cycle of babyfur discourse and watching friends I care about shame spiral because of it. It used to make me feel ashamed and sad but these days it just makes me angry.
Look it's absolutely okay to be a babyfur/little/age regressor/whatever label you're pinning on yourself. You're alright. Your a weirdo absolutely and that's also amazing. Embrace the cringe, so they say.

I haven't felt any shame regarding my interests in many years. I never went through a binge and purge cycle, since I accepted this part of myself fairly quickly, relative to most others in our community.
Saying that, I'm not without my scars. I keep it to the privacy of my bedroom, but I once had someone watch me, through my bedroom window... embarrassing to admit, but I didn't know how to properly close the blinds for a little bit there.

I really love this. It's been a long time since I had a big shame spiral with this part of myself, but I definitely used to a lot. And I was still hesitant enough about it to not tell my partner for a long time, even knowing they would almost definitely accept it about me.
