Presenting the V8, my first hand built PC
Presenting you my new PC, which has been running for a month with no problems. This is the machine you have been seen working during my streams lately.
The name "V8" is quite simple:
-It was the 8th computer I handled over my life (other ones were borrowed or I just enhanced them with salvaged or added components).
-I love cars, specially ones with a built-in V8 engine (Land Rovers, BMW series 3s, Ford Mustangs, Mercedes-Benz CLK...)
-It was the eighth plan of a computer built from scratch I was thinking, involving a price less than 1000€.
-It has 8GB of RAM memory and 8 USB ports, including 2 USB 3.0 ports.
This was the investment of 4 years learning computer system management and science in college and 1200€, including the monitor. I also want to thank
Kairhl,
SilverWingCid and
TestamentHolmes for the review and consulting of the project.
The outer design is not finished yet, but I thought on adding red stripes as part of the customization and better parts with the time, such as bigger RAM, go to SLI but not overclocking the CPU (I just don't want to blow up the motherboard XD)
Enjoy it =3
