Steampunk Skunk, vintage-style muscle cyborg (WIP)
Continuing to work through my backlog of un-drawn characters, here's a WIP of Ambrose "Steampunk Skunk" Moffat, a superhero from the backstory of my superhero universe. He was an eccentric city-slicker inventor who came out West the 1910s to seek opportunities in his trade. His superpowers cause him to produce steam instead of skunk spray, powering his cybernetic limbs, which he invented himself. (I haven't quite worked out yet how he came to require them.) They also grant him extra enhanced strength, in addition to the usual superhero super-strength.
My present-day superhero/heroine couple, Power Hoss and NightVision, could bond over admiration of him, Power Hoss over his engineering skills and NightVision over his invention of advanced prosthetic technology.
His cyborg parts were inspired by Thirty-Thirty the robotic horse from "BraveStarr."
In the finished picture, he'll be leaning on something, probably looking up at a locomotive and thinking how to improve it.
He's no relation to my present-day skunk supervillainess Zoria Quimica. I'm still pretty set on keeping her mysterious and not giving her a backstory, but I did think it might be funny if she thought she was descended from Steampunk Skunk and instead it turns out she's related to his sidekick (not pictured here), Rudi "Stinky Serape" Geruch, a semi-reformed bandit with no superpowers.
