The original Pizza Hut sits on the WSU campus. Corn Husky was excited to place an order, but quickly learned that it has been turned into a small museum as inspiration for young entrepreneurs.
My friends Corn Husky and Digeri spent a week visiting me in early February. We had fun accompanying the Husky on a fursuit romp on the campus of my old alma mater, Wichita State University.

Check this link. There is a photo of the building at its original location on the corner of Kellogg and Bluff in Wichita. It was moved to the WSU campus in 1986 and to its current location in 2017.

yea definitely 2003 bricks now, it looks less cozy pizza cottage fresh outta brooklyn as it does there and more like a building that was built at some point for something and has been a subway or dominos for the past 15 years.
i'm doing my thing as a historian, other than all that jazz its a lovely photo an i think this installation museum is neat in and of itself, even if i absolutely would prefer to go to that cozy pizza cottage for the atmosphere. there being a 2013 domino's in there is not at all the same thing, y'know? and not for the better regardless of consistency.

If you thatched that roof, with that slope, it really would look like a hut! I'm trying to use my wayback machine to remember what Kellogg looked like pre-freeway.
And I do find dine-in stores, but usually in small towns where they havent been converted yet. I suspect, eventually, they will all go away

While walking on-campus and looking yonder, I did not expect to find the original Pizza Hut right over where we walked. I am glad I had a good-husky-feeling about pursuing those clump of buildings.
But the high-school kids with their event for the day going ga-ga over Corn really made my day. This is especially for the boy who kept following me at the window, while we were at the bridge, the porch, and trying to find a way inside. It was no question that I would gladly let him get a photo of us.
I am glad I did not blink in the pictures! Whew!
