As Tessera races go, the Tenjônese don't have a lot in the way of physical variety, apart from color. Their wings, like the Sotzil, aren't quite big enough to fly on without a bit of magical help, but they do let them hover in place and glide down harmlessly from heights.

The one on the left is an Aetherblade, a mage who channels spells through a special crystalline "saber" they wield like a sword. On the right is a Kinesthete, a physically-oriented mage whose spells influence inertia, gravity, and velocity. Tessera is the sort of place where unusual ways of making magic work are par for the course for adventurers.
