I have a really really adult job. And I play videogames, paint miniatures, play with my cats and dogs, and generally behave and feel more like 21 than 42.

42 here, and I still play with dolls, video games, minecraft, play with my doggos and collect comfort blankets. Your as old as you want to be, as long as you are still being a responsible adult, who cares what you do to make your self happy. =3

Thirty years seems like a long time until you look back. Admittedly there will come a time when you don't want to be the "old guy" at the club. However, that doesn't mean you can't have fun and be silly and also deal with responsibilities. Enjoy what you can.

I gave up clubbing in my 20s, when I realised they were opening at what was usually my bedtime because of my work schedule.
Dancing all night became less attractive to me after I did myself some minor injuries while dancing in steel-toed boots.

And daytimes are too bright and noisy to get any sleep at all. Music, dancing, and fun are great, but can we do it in the afternoon so I can go to bed at a reasonable time and not be dead tired at work all week? Maybe even sober up by the time morning comes, so I can do daytime stuff?

If this is a reference to your actual age, Iskra, I wouldn't have guessed we were basically the same! I can't remember a time when your great art wasn't around. You must've been at it from a young age!

On the topic, I think a better question for me would be what adult hobbies do I have? Hmmm... I guess I like fashion a lot more than most kids do. But for "kidult" it's the anime collecting, video games, and comics.

I also remember a time when sledding in the snow didn't equal a day or two of being sore all over afterwards. But it's impossible to resist!

Keeping pet bugs. I've got madagascar hissing cockroaches, a tailless whip scorpion, some isopods, and (many) tarantulas. Also lots of video games. I'm 37.

You're never too old for miniatures; you just add budgeting to the hobby. lol

Funny enough, the fact that I'm interested in animation is still considered childish in my family, regardless of whether it's just watching or animating. And yes, video games as well, including game shows' adaptations)

Just wait until you hit 40 and decide "I can still do all the dumb stunts I used to pull when I was 20" and your body reminds you that it's been two decades since your last game of laser tag.

The older I get, the less I care. I have a very healthy mix of adult and "childish" hobbies. My job is very demanding and adult. I have a lot of responsibility. If someone wants to judge me for playing with nerf guns, they can kiss my ass lol.
