Bridget McCoyote was born in Arizona in 1994 and moved to Hawaii with her parents when she was three years old. Ayumi Catasaki was born in Hawaii in 1993. Both girls struggled to make friends growing up and eventually found comfort in each other’s friendship when they were children.

On a tragic, stormy night in 2004, both of their parents were killed in an accident. After the funeral, Bridget and Ayumi learned they were going to be separated and placed with different families by social services. Refusing to be split apart, they ran away. They stole a small boat and tried to travel as far as they could, but a violent storm struck and caused them to crash. They ended up stranded on an uncharted island in the middle of the ocean, completely alone with no other people around.

Years later, in 2019, they met Tyler. The three of them began bonding and growing close. One night, things went further than expected, and Tyler unintentionally impregnated both women. The next morning, Bridget and Ayumi disappeared without a trace. Tyler searched for them, but they were nowhere to be found.

Nine months later, Bridget and Ayumi each gave birth to their babies.
