Recently I had to take my dog Sushi down to Texas, traveling all the way from Alaska. I set up a GoFundMe to help with cost for her care. Donations helped more then anyone would ever know in allowing me to finish up the tests we needed as well as getting the surgery done. She stayed with the vet over night for two days to be monitored before I was ok to finally come get her. Upon returning home we have been working with out vet, doing check ups every two weeks to make sure recovery goes well. We managed to wean her off her meds and she is still on a special diet. We are introducing small pieces of chicken and fish into her diet. She has had no more seizures since we have returned and seems to be heading down the ad to a recovery without any complications.
