Hmm, it feels like his first back-jump is a bit delayed in mid-air, like it takes much longer than it should be to turn right side up again.

The drop at the end is really cool with the little head blur, makes it look more extreme. :3

yeah, it slows down mid-air cos i wanted to give him this sort of weightlessness flying feeling/look, i also attempted to to some time re-scaling mid-way through the aniamtion to get a feel for the "bullet time" effect - my timeing still needs a bit of work tho ;)

the head blur/stretch takes place because I sped him back up at the end, with the flex mod getting more extreme when the speed changes quickly, i could have tuned it out, but i looks more extreme as you say, so i left it in

Well I'm really glad you left in the sped-up process at the end, it seriously looks badass. I can just imagine so many cool effects you could use that with in a fighting scene or of the like.

Great stuff, nice model and rig, the animation is a bit floaty at times and needs a bit more sense of weight on the landings, Nice strong key poses tho. Great job :D

Why not use biped-system? You can automate ground contact.

this sequence uses the biped system, with the points of contact being weighted to the ground using the programable pivot points and locked position keys.

I was trying to go for a slow motion effect, but he just came out looking a little "floaty".

Personally I think the Biped is a piece of shit that should be riped out of Max.

The poses aren't too bad, but you really need to work on your timing. He really does look like hes floating, and theres not much dynamism.
