Hiryu was the Japanese Produced Robot stolen from the World Robot Expo in Ep.1 and entered into scene late into Episode 3 and was the Monster of the week in # Sure Kill! The Phoenix Maneuver. It is the first Iron Alliance Mecha to do significant damage to Red Baron.
History
After the destruction of Agun Garuda, Hiryu enters to the field, Ken readies to battle only to learn from Dr. Deviler that Kenichiro (Android X) is piloting it.
Unable to confront it without killing his brother, Hiryu proceeds to beat Red Baron, to the point it ripped its left arm from the socket and smacks the mecha with it. Afterwards Hiryu retreats and Red Baron is taken back to base for Repairs, but sustained damage to its Combat Circuits, meaning it can't go into combat any time soon, and the schematics were disposed by Kenichiro, fearing these would fall into the wrong hands.
Meanwhile, the Iron Alliance proceeds to kidnap people in order to transform them into Slaves, among them a group of Children who Inspector Kumano was with; after killing one of the Soldiers, Kumano proceeds to go after the truck with Ken tagging along and calling for help; the duo pursue the bus to their hideout and break in after knocking out a few guards, with Kumano dealing with a few Robot Soldiers as well. Ken finds and rescues the kids, but are stopped by the fiends who hold Kumano hostage. They try to turn Ken into a slave, but he soon recognizes Mari as the nurse and soon a fight ensues in an attempt to escape, holding long enough for the rest of the SSI to break in and join the fight.
Hiryu then arrives and Daigo with Tetsuya make quick passes filming the robot and its pilot with an X Ray sensor while been shoot at; after acquiring the needed data, they head back to base to see their findings, where they soon discover Kenichiro was an Android (Should had been a given, considering the poor Bastard was blown to pieces in his face, but oh well). The revelation comes late for Ken, who was tricked by falling into the Villains deceit which led to the damage state of Baron, and head back to the Hangar, where after a .... sigh... Spiritual talk, to say the least, Rays of light from the Full moon fall over Red Baron, which bounces from it to Ken's Wrist Watch, which then bounces to a wall, where a secret compartment opens where he finds a Safe with the Schematics: the SSI is able to fix Red Baron and it is able to be launched.
Ken then decimates the Iron Alliance new Base, calling out Hiryu to battle, forcing the Mecha and its Android Pilot to emerge and accept the challenge; full of conviction and righteous anger, Ken smacks the bastard down with a Baron Punch, but soon, after another taunt from Deviler and Hiryu holding him in place, Ken comes to realize too late he has fallen into another trap, as mechanical claws appears from the hills that latched onto Red Baron's ankle joint, with Incinerator Cannons following. A stream of extreme heat of 100,000 degrees engulfs both Mechas, Daigo calling Ken to eject. Hiryu and its Android pilot melt away, but to Deviler's shock, the Generators overheat and explode, with Red Baron and Ken surviving the ordeal. As it begins to walk from the battlefield, the SSI team celebrates.
Arsenal: Hiryu could jumped high for a powerful dropkick and was strong enough to ripped Red Baron's arm off. Like most robots, it was capable of flight with Rocket Thrusters in its Feet, and possessed an projectile dispenser located in a compartment behind the Sun emblem in the Abdomen. It had a control cabin where the Android could pilot in the head. Despite its strength, it was weak to Temperatures of 100,000 degrees.
Appearance: Humanoid Robot, mostly Silver in color with a Red Torso and Pelvis; its oval shape head sport two large cones on the side and a small one on top, and had red eyes; it had a Shell Plate over the torso which ended into blade like ornaments with a Red dome in the abdomen, where the Projectile dispenser was located. The knees sport plates that had red crescents evoking of the Imperial Japanese Symbol.

Even in your artwork, Red Baron's "T" shaped head is still something that isn't completely aesthetically pleasing to me. When I first saw it(Red Baron), my first thought was "That head design is certainly a choice", but since then I've gotten used to it, as I like basically everything else about Red Baron: his red color scheme is certainly striking; love the silver belt with the RB initials on them; actually has an arsenal that doesn't seem to be mostly made-up-on-the-fly bullshit.
