Just feelin' fab, swishing my tail through life. A lot in life has changed for me. I've finished school, am working a real job, and generally just feeling better about life, and about myself.
Part of that has been accepting that I'm bi. 😊 I've known that I was some kind of queer for a long time. Honestly have felt anxious about it. Part of it has been hesitation to embrace this side of me - that I like mermaids and merfolk stuff. I enjoy being cute. 🌸 I've been afraid of how my life would change if I embraced all of that - but the thing is - it's turned out alright.
Do I get some playful teasing about growing out my hair, generally acting a bit girly, or liking cute mermen? Yeah I do. But I've learned it's okay for me to accept that as part of my normal, every day self.
I'm just all in all feeling more like myself, more like the merman I am on the inside. 🙂
