I thought so. I Invested in those costumes 'cause I fear that the Disney experience I had in 2015 would be the only one. I've never been to Walt Disney World or Disneyland before. So the least I can do is cosplay the magic around my apartment. On the other hand, in the event I'm invited to a child's birthday party and it's Mickey Mouse themed, Minnie Mouse themed or Disney themed in general, meaning all characters, I can offer my services and give the kids the experience of a lifetime. In order to perform like the cast members of the theme parks, I view people's videos on YouTube that were shot in Walt Disney World or Disneyland as part of my personal training, and that means it's not professional training, and I have to do the best I can to act out Mickey or Minnie as closely to how the cast members were trained professionally. Not only that, but it takes a lot of practice to imitate how the cast members portray Mickey & Minnie. In fact, there are some character training films of Mickey & Minnie on YouTube.
We’ve never been to either Disney Land or Disney World either. It’s expensive as hell. We do have that Disney + Hulu bundle, and that’s enough Disney experience for us. Plus I’ve heard you gotta meet a whole lot of criteria to even be considered for a role at one of those parks. Kinda like the guard for the tomb of the unknown soldier.
