Look, I'm just saying that either both are or neither is.

TBF unless you drink it with the pulp (and all the pulp) it IS less healthy as a significant amount of the nutrients are in the 'skin' of the orange (not the peel, to be clear. I just dunno what the insides are called. Flesh?) it's kinda like peeling a potato that way- you strip away a portion of the nutritional value while keeping the less healthy bits.
Depends on if they have skunk olfactory senses or human olfactory senses. Skunks have sensitive noses that the citrus smell of the orange peels aggravates them. Its why so many 'natural' rodent/skunk/raccoon repellents have things like rosemary in them.

I recall I had a guinea pig in the past that would've had a field day with the pulp and peeling left over. Were she still around, she would've challenged that "inedible" status passionately, probably squealing obnoxiously once the scent of the orange got to her nose. XD Odd girl, seemed to enjoy that white membrane between the flesh and rind the most.
Story time, during my country's latest war, my grandmother who was a kid at a time was tasked with bringing an orange to some family member who was sick. She was so hungry that when she arrived, she had already eaten all the peel, keeping the juicy part untouched for her family member.
Aye, more nutrition in the peel, great for health benefits. I know some recipes call for orange zest (I think fruit cake is one of those, orange marmalade definitely.) Though I feel lemon is the more common fruit where the peel is called for in culinary deeds. However, it feels zest is often paired with a gratuitous amount of sugar in most cases to counter the strong bitter and/or sour flavor. Only thing that I can think of to maybe reduce that is with something sweeter that you would need less of it, like maple sugar.
