Inside one of the buildings in San Diego, a worker named Melinda was on the top floor with her fellow co-workers and her boss. They have been working since 11 AM, and the clock is currently at 8:09, so it has been a little over 9 hours Melinda and the others have been doing work on the top floor.
Currently, Melinda and the others are working on the computers. She has multiple papers on her desk, which are about the things they enjoy the most and caring for nature, etc.
Melinda, a red-haired woman dressed in a red silk blouse with black shoes, was writing something on the computer about how to help others when they are feeling sad or down.
Melinda's boss, Richard, shows up behind her. He appears very well dressed in with long blue sleeves rolled up and khaki pants, brown shoes.
"Finishing up with the assignment, Melinda?" Richard asks Melinda about whether she is doing done with the assignment she was working on the computer. "We are about to close down work soon by 9, and your work must be finished before the time ends."
"Yes, Richard. I will get the assignment finished before I leave with everyone else. I promise." She replies back, keeping her word that she will complete her assignment.
"Okay, I'll let you get to it." Richard allows Melinda to continue her work on her computer and he proceeds to check in on the others in the same room as them.
Going to the next person on Melinda's left is a man named Andrew. Richard sees that everyone is doing their assignments on the computer just like they should be at this time. He seems confident. By the time he has checked on a few others, he sees that they have finished their assignments, but he suggests they wait until everyone else is done.
Minutes later, Melinda was just finished with her assignments and so did Andrew. They have saved their assignments on the computer. Melinda silently raised her right hand in the air to bring Richard her attention. Richard tells her that he'll come over in a moment.
"Are you almost done, miss?" Richard asks a woman named Bethany, one of Melinda's co-workers.
"Yes, sir." Bethany replies.
Richard decides to let her finish up with what she has to finish and goes back to Melinda and Andrew. When he comes over, he sees that the two are finished with their assignments. He thanks the both of them for completing their assignments.
He tells them not to leave until everyone is finished with theirs. About seven more people were still working on the assignments on the computers.
But while Melinda and Andrew are chilling, they feel the objects near them shaking a little.
"What was that...?" Andrew wondered while looking at Melinda.
"I don't even know what the noise was, but I can't tell if it was-" Melinda tried to talk, but her sentence was interrupted when she feeling things shaking a bit more.
The entire room was eventually hearing a voice from outside, and this caused the boss Richard to take a look at the window and see what was happening. Much to his shock, he saw a giant-sized German Shepherd stomping his way through, going past one building. His name was Charlie B. Barkin. He was bigger than almost every single building around him.
"This city is nothing like San Francisco." Charlie says, comparing San Diego as a city that's not like San Francisco. His deep voice, mostly because of his enormous size, echoed and shattered some windows from nearby buildings.
Charlie then looks at the windows, one of them with Melinda and the others in it. He then takes a closer look and sees the humans in them. Richard backs away, jumping in shock when the big canine came closer towards him, his nose almost breaking the windows.
"Um, nice doggie..." Richard said as he waved at Charlie.
"I see you humans in there!" Charlie says as he sees the other humans in the room where Richard and Melinda are in.
Melinda comes closer, standing next to Richard to see what was going on. She saw the giant German Shepherd from outside looking at her and Richard, startling them.
"Please don't hurt us." Melinda begs Charlie not to hurt her.
"Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you little ones in that building. I'm just here to stomp my way through the city and have some fun traveling as a giant!" Charlie responds, telling the humans that he's on a big stroll in San Diego, which always amuses whenever he's gigantic in size.
"Y-You're not...?" Melinda asked.
"No, I don't ever plan on harming you!" Charlie says with a happy response.
The humans felt relief from what Charlie said.
"Who are you you by the way?" Richard questions the big canine, wondering who he is.
"The name's Charlie B. Barkin, and I was born in New Orleans but moved to San Francisco many years ago." Charlie gives his explanation to the tinies on who he was and where he's from. "I'm here to just have a tour through San Diego as a giant dog! Isn't that exciting?"
The humans laughed nervously, but they agree with Charlie somehow.
Charlie turns away from the humans and continues his stroll, shaking things around him, leave paw prints behind and stomped on a few cars under his paws despite not even knowing they were there.
The people inside look at him as his huge tail swing back and forth, his tail hitting the window, shattering it, and Melinda and Richard backed away from the window to avoid getting hit.
Melinda and Richard were safe before the windows could touch them one bit.
