Murphy is a tooth fairy, but it doesn't give him enough hours and pay, so he has to find a second (and sometimes third) job. He also knows where the Magical Employment Agency is, and they're always looking for cupids at Valentines Day. And since he was familiar with the Inkwell area, that where he was assigned. He went to the Hazbin Hotel and meant to help the poor guy Glum, but he missed and the arrows bounced around the room a few times and then hit the bartender Bojo the panda and the mob boss Tad the frog, very polar opposite people. You'll have to ask them how far they took it and what happened after the hypnotic arrows wore off. Murphy kinda flew off real quick after that happened.
To be fair, Murphy helped a couple who needed a boost and got a shy couple to finally get a date. He told his cupid boss about his accident, and his boss was more than okay with it, basically telling Murphy that it happens and basically they want quantity over quality.
After he finished his assignment, Murphy took a few arrows home. ssshhh, don't tell them! And he'll apologize to Bojo later/
