Bucky O Hare fan project-designs part 1
Here's a bit of a preview of something I'm working on.
Think of the project as fan "remake", basically going back to the start of the story, albeit with some changes-minor and bigger. I'll explain the details soon, for now enjoy in this. :>
Jenny's armor is more or less left the same-only added some minor details, changed others, and that's it-in original cartoon and comic, the part that covered her torso and chest was a one-piece suit, in this design it's sepparated into two parts.

Got this on DVD and haven't watched it in ages. You've certainly added some curves to Jenny and made look more mature (something I thought she lacked a bit in the cartoon) and the slight costume alteration suits her down to the ground. On a personal not there, I think her heels should be removed and made a part of her boots. Krystal from Starfox assault did a good job with that, migth be worth a look in. I always thought heels were a little impractical when you're running around dodging energy blasts and trying to use psychic powers.
Bucky looks a lot more in charge and reliable than the cape toting hero he was formerly portrayed as, He looks more taciturn and serious than the devil-may-care, maverick, trouble shooter he was before. He definitely looks like he earned his rank with blood, sweat and tears. His expression here carries a weight of experience and understanding that the cartoon character never did for me. This is a much more believable Bucky O'Hare.
Excellent work!

Well, first time I drew Jenny for this, she did have higher heels and I was like "Fuck no, she would trip with every step if she tried to run!" and Krystal's boots design was what made me lower them. I do think that the design of her boots used in the comic books was....far less practical, if not a bit weird looking http://www.buckyohare.org/merch/attack/08.jpg
And as for Bucky...well, the way I imagined it for this project, he is serious and in charge...but he's still young, inexperienced and lacks patience when making decisions, which often gets him into trouble. All of the crew members in my project are younger and less experienced than they were in comic and cartoon (think of them in their early-mid 20s).

I would've preferred a total change to her outfit. I dunno why Bucky's outfit needs a complete overhaul, but Jenny's shiny metal dominatrix outfit, essentially the epitome of a juvenile boy's sex fantasy, remains unchanged. But at least the high heels got minimized.
But at least the high heels got minimized.
*waaaay too late reply* >_>
That's what always bugged me in any cartoon, movie, comic or videogame I laid my eyes upon-sure, it's nice to see a chick in high heels, I have a soft spot for that, but if you're gonna apply heels to a action-oriented girl, at least make some sense out of it and make them practical-lower them, don't make it look like she'll break her legs if she even tries to walk faster, or-God forbid-try to run.

Ironically, this cartoon has been quasi-finished as a web series...

He technically already was just the captain of a patrol ship. The only ship, at least in the first episode. The series was an absolute mess, but the character designs were never really the problem (despite my issues with Jenny's outfit and this trend with female heroes in general). Rather, the story was what needed a reworking. So I hope you do less overhauling of the character designs and concern yourself more with the gaping plot holes like the fact there's no way in hell the UAF would have only one ship to defend them, even with their (apparent) budgetary problems and their (extremely clunky and unreliable) satellite defense network.
