This was a project I wrote and recorded for Intro to Commercial Music. The assignment was :60 of "on-hold music" - you know, that light but upbeat music you hear when they put you on hold. Apparently some companies actually buy this stuff, rather than just patching in a radio station. I recorded the base track, then asked Rhubarb to riff over it with his sax. (I was apparently in a Spyro Gyra mood.) I think I called it First Draught because a) it was the first take of b) my first recorded music project in school and c) I was ready for a pint by the time it was done. Also, I liked the wordplay. :)
