I wonder why this one's fur is so "fluffy". Could it be an Asian cheetah (they are supposed to be a bit different regarding fluff, color and size)?
Do you happen to have any photos of those, too? I'm just curious to know what they look like, especially from up close. I haven't found any nice pictures of them yet.

You have a good eye! The 'fluffiness' here is actually a mix of two things: First, this cheetah was still quite young when I took the photo, and they tend to have much softer, fluffier coats at that age. Second, the strong backlight (rim lighting) catches all those fine juvenile hairs and creates a glowing 'halo' effect!
As for the Asiatic cheetah: I wish I had photos of them! Unfortunately, they are critically endangered and virtually non-existent in zoos outside of Iran. That's exactly why it's so incredibly hard to find good close-up reference photos of them.
