In-Game Information
A distant terrible roar is heard from the flames of the volcano. A predator roaming the Scorching heat of the mountains and the searing sting of the desert. Behold, the Tao-no-Tsume. An beast that hunts with no elemental attacks. All brute strength and agility make this monster a top apex predator. Extremely territorial, Is said to fight anything that enters its territory. From Teostra, to Lunastra, and even the Deviljho if crossed in this beast’s path. Formidable limbs and razor sharp claws make this proud and aggressive Monster a force that will even make expert hunters quake in fear of its mighty roar.
Taxonomy
A newly part of the Fanged Wyvern family next to the Jinouga. Not very much is known about Fanged Wyverns except that the class appear to be a mix between Pelagus and Wyverns, possibly inspired by Therapsids (mammal-like reptiles). Jinouga is the only known Fanged Wyvern. However, its claws and general build bear an uncanny similarity to Akantor and Ukanlos, suggesting that it may be distantly related to them.
Habitat Range
The Tao’s preferred habitat is either hot to warm, and humid climates. Its main habitat is the Volcano where it fights for territory. It will venture into the Sandy Plains for if territory is scarce in the volcano due to other Taos. It may venture into the Flooded Forest and Mountain Stream for unknown reasons. It is said because during mating season both the male and female Tao’s want a cooler environment to mate. So quests with more than one Tao are usually in these parts.
Ecological Niche
An Apex predator in the Volcanic Belt and Sandy Plain areas. Very high on the food chain and only troubled by Rathalos, Teostra, Lunastra, Deviljho, and Sand Barioth. Yet despite its competition with such formidable Flying Wyverns, Tao-no-Tsume is rather formidable itself. Recent information suggests that even the Uragaan is wary of this beast. Usually feeds on smaller animals like Kelbi, Aptonoth, Rhenoplos, and even fanged wyverns like Jaggi or Furogi.
Biological Adaptations
The Tao seems very tiger-like if one looks at its face, and has a very muscular set of forelimbs very comparable to big cats. It has surprising agility for such a large monster, similar to Nargacuga. It has sharp claws attached to strong muscular fore-limbs, used to deliver a fatal blow to prey and hunters.
It’s main advantage it’s its roar. The Tao will roar before countering with swift and strong blows. In order to block these roars, one must have High-Grade Ear-Plugs in order to counter its mighty roar. If in the volcano, the Tao’s claws will have fire element from stepping into the hot lava causing fire-blight.
Behavior
The Tao is similar to real Tigers; it even pounces like them to pin down prey. But it does not attack in surprise. It will hunt down its prey head on and chase after it for even days to get its food. Like Tigers, Tao’s are picky where they eat. When low on stamina and after it’s pinned a small monster. It will pick it up and run to its rest area and eat it there. This leaves it open to attacks. Its aggressive attitude, brute strength and cunning agility make it a deadly predator. Hunters must be extremely wary of this creature.
THis os my very own Monster Hunter Creation, I hope you like it ^^

Until I seen that the character was yours -3-
The description and details were so cool they seemed real xD
I looked at the character and first thought
"hmm...it looks like a tigerx, mixed with a narg, and somewhat of a ukanlos" xD
Looks awesome though! ^^
