Wackiness aside, I feel like the super weird ones really highlight your skill and creativity as a TF artist the most. I have no idea how I'd even begin to approach a concept like this, yet you did it splendidly. My favorite detail is the mane turning into the smoke, very clever

This... Man where do I even begin. I'm conflicted.
I do like this piece. The transition is impressively smooth and both characters look absolutely fabulous. I can't say much on the pony here not being familiar with the character, though I can say lady in particular is drawn incredibly well.
Knowing the FULL backstory to Lady and her place in the franchise though, it feels almost... disrespectful.
But what do I know. A commission is a commission, and I've never done those before myself.

Oh no, it's not a controversial thing thankfully.
I think what really puts me off by this is the context of her voice actor. She was voiced by the late Britt Allcroft (the person who made the original TV series) in her debut in Thomas and The Magic Railroad.
TATMR was meant to be Britt's ultimate passion project, though due to a number of complicated influences and incidents it was never able to be released in it's intended condition.
She sadly passed away just last year, right before the 80th anniversary of the franchise.
I'm sorry if that's a bit much to take in, I just shouldn't have commented anything in the first place.
