This is a continuation of a pic I did here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/60784438/ where Belle and Thundra stop a UNF goon from coming after Saurus and probably saved him a serious beating but he ends up being arrested and sentenced for the attempt. Later, he is up for a work-release program and ends up going to Belle's ranch (still workshopping a name for it) where she raises various bugs. If you are a fan of the Zodiac setting you will have noticed that various invertebrates of various size take the place of normal animals in this anthropomorphic setting. Jeff the Land Shark is just here for fun.
Had a lot of fun with Belle and Samson. I think I'm getting her look down better so she doesn't look like a palette-swapped Taurus.

To be fair yeah, it usually the big and mean looking one that turn out to be the nicest. Jeff however is unimpressed with the new arrival, though that won’t be an issue as long as the bear behaves himself.

A lumberjack beetle would probably be a valuable asset to a farm set up. Good for breaking down old trees and bothersome growths in fields, strong enough to pull heavy loads, armored against any wild attacks from other animals.
Only drawback would be when mating season hits and they...well, literally go out with a bang.
