Aural Exstasis
Yeah, that's me with ASURA's ( http://www.asura-music.com ) "Code Eternity" thing playing through those headphones, a kind of trance-psy-tribal track they have... hence, trippiness.
Also, I must mention that this is not a photograph. In yet another attempt at experimental imaging, I literally picked up the scanner and put it right up to my face and let the line of light pass over, being careful to move as little as I could. I learned several things:
1. Scanners are MUCH slower than photocopiers (but also much less painfully bright, heheh).
2. The body's natural tendency to not sit still (and blink) made for an interesting "displacement bands" effect.
3. For this scanner crazy thing, you need a good sense of environmental lighting for good results. (I suck at illustrated lighting, so... bwah.)
I picked the third of a few scans, since I liked it best, and worked on it.
Scanned, did some Levels and Hue/Saturation adjustments for aesthetics and artistimation, added one previously-made glue-smeared-acrylic-sheet texture for... well.. texture, and other digital shiznits.
Thanks for looking. :)

Google "scanography", plenty of stuff's been done this way out there.
The way I see it, artists have their "flavours". A lot of artists are the kind that refine technique to render things exquisitely, though sometimes their subject matter or innovation isn't important. Other sorts of artists are in it for the methodology, exploring bizarre or uncommon ways of producing an image, though sometimes they end up making crap art and bullshit their justifications for it. Some rare artists do both parts well, and we secretly hate their testicles/ovaries for it.
Since I'm crap as coming back to a piece hundreds of times in order to make sure the fucking specular lighting is bloody perfectly bouncing off a frogwoman's arse, I'm in the second camp: making stuff that, with hope, make people wonder how the flying fuck it was made.

Not sure if you missed the other, more purposeful attempt at it here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1058819/
You made yourself clear on it ages ago, dear. Fact remains I'm getting old and rusty, and the kind of verve that walked in and brought out hysterical pictures like 'Back Of My Hand' has moved on to fatter wallets and bigger cocks. Eh. =]
