A slight redesign of Gyaos, a species of kaiju resembling birds and bats. This particular design was used at the beginning of the 2006 film "Gamera: Little Heroes." In English-speaking countries, the film was released under the title "Gamera the Brave," but I don't remember the original title. In the film, a flock of Gyaos terrorizes a small town in Japan, I think it was 1973. A turtle kaiju named Gamera is unable to cope with the entire flock and even suffers several serious injuries, so the turtle resorts to a last resort - he explodes, incinerating all the Gyaos. About 30 years later, the turtle is reborn as a phoenix. I may stop drawing Gyaos in any of the official designs, as I don't know how to make his anatomy more realistic without drastically changing his main features.
