Gummigoo had been missing for a few days, and Chad and Max had been looking everywhere. It wasn’t like him to just abandon them. Before he went missing, he had said something about checking out a canyon he had seen earlier that day. Chad and Max, being equally a bit dense, only recently remembered, and had no idea which canyon he’d be in. But they were determined to find him, so they started hunting. By sheer luck, the first canyon they approached happened to be the right one. As they entered, strange gurgling and sloshing noises graced their ears, seemingly coming from the end of the canyon. Upon approaching, they noticed a gap in the canyon wall, wide enough for Gummigoo to get through if he turned sideways. That was where the gurgling was coming from. As they called out for Gummigoo, the rumbling suddenly got louder… and then the canyon wall shook. The gap widened, rocks breaking off under the stress of what sounded like a massive impact. Through the opening, they could barely see what looked like a colossal white orb, seemingly the sources of the noises. Under its surface, things moved, making it slosh louder as bumps rose, moved, and sank back into the surface. It took Chad and Max a moment, but they eventually realized that whatever was behind the gap was stuffed to the brim with life. As if in response to their thoughts, the apparent womb suddenly grew again, pushing against the wall, having seemingly already taken up the entirety of the small space. The wall crumbled more, and with one last mighty growth, was blown open. Finally able to move, the owner of the womb stepped outwards, breathing a sigh of relief. Chad and Max immediately recognized the voice, but stepped around the belly to see for themselves. And there he was, their missing brother Gummigoo, now equipped with an enormous pregnant belly, no doubt grown while he was stuck in that hole. “Gummigoo??” The younger brothers exclaimed simultaneously. “Ugh… finally free! Sorry ‘bout abandoning you two… something i ate a few days ago was apparently contaminated, and it uhh… did this to me. I had been feeling weird the entire day, it was my bad judgement that had me enter the hole at the peak of the noises. So i got stuck!” he explained. “What’s even in there?” Max asked, struggling to believe how big Gummigoo had gotten. “I’d assume baby Gummilings… a lot of em.” Gummigoo responded, hesitantly rubbing his colossal belly, which was already starting to get agitated again. “Oh boy…” Chad said, concern entering his features. It was unclear how many gummibabies were contained inside, but it was at least a village’s worth.. And judging by the noises the womb was making, it was about to be more. A lot more. They were going to have their hands full, very very soon.
