Ok, so, I actually started to do this fan art last year, but I put it aside to make room for other project and mostly because I didn't have the motivation to finish it but now here it is.

When I was watching Seton Academy again (because, ya know, it's a guilty pleasure 😅), I realised that I actually ship Ranka and Miyubi because I honestly think that Ranka has more chemistry with Miyubi than Jin! X3 So I wanted to draw them in my style again (even though I have mixed feelings on character redesigns nowadays, Seton Academy is an exception for me). ^^

Despite the series trying to show that Jin has hidden feelings for Ranka despite his hatred for animals and that the ending of the manga implies that they might end up together (yes, I even read the manga, don't judge me >w<"), I openly refuse to ship Ranka with Jin because 1: Even with the sexual dimorphism made for fanservice reasons, it's still disturbing on so many levels 🤢and 2: I feel like Jin is way too stuck-up in his bigotry against animals to fully love Ranka (plus, I hate it when he calls her "Dumb Dog" instead of her name most of the time😠seriously what does she sees in this guy?).

With Miyubi on the other hand, I ship them because I love how Ranka, despite being a very hyperactive canine, is very patient with Miyubi due to the latter being a sloth and they are both very supportive of eachother in their respective goals and also because I just think their interactions are super cute everytime they are shown together. ^w^

I know a wolf and a sloth might look like a weird couple, but at least it's WAY less creepy and disgusting than a wolf and a human! X3
