oh man it was hilarious, you have no fucking idea. the powerups all get switched around randomly which results in like, the 10-coin block on the first level (you know the one!) is actually a 10 "1-up" block (wtf!) but you can only get you know, 3 or 4 before it runs out if you're lucky

there are some blocks later on where you'll hit them and get like, two coins... then nothing, then nothing... but then you'll hit them a FIFTH time and get like... a VINE?? wtf block!!! you were holding out on me??

but, powerups are really hard to come by with these codes, because the mushrooms aren't where they're supposed to be. they get shifted around and 80% of the powerup blocks are empty. so, it's a challenge!

I didn't know there was a code like that... But when it comes to NES games that I regularly play with Game Genie, it's usually Kirby's Adventure, Startropics and SMB 2 and 3.

SMB3 had some good codes! my friend and i were playing with one where you can pull ice blocks wherever you're standing, that's pretty awesome.

I miss the days of the game genie and game shark, action replay, etc.
New consoles, with achievements and online play, can't do that -- nothing will beat glitching the crap out of a game or doing hilarious unintended things with them. <3

The old games were the best! Not only was the game challenging, but the controllers were difficult to use and got your fingers super soar if you played too much/hard! Those were the days...

sableye is a cute pokemon too! i drew him once or twice. i actually pitched a sableye comic but people did not like it as much as my other ideas. maybe some day i can draw sableye again too.

i met a not-very-nice sableye character who makes me kind of want to avoid drawing them though! ha ha!!! i suppose i'm a little petty
