This drawing was intended to be a gift for a close friend but sadly, they recently passed away.
For privacy reasons I’m not going to clarify who.
I never took the proper initiative early on to work on it, and I still feel so disappointed in myself.
Even though I was busy on most occasions I still could have done it, and even the amount of time this took proves that, with only 2-3 hours on the same day.
Though this wasn’t a easy drawing to work on either, and it’s mainly because it felt so depressing, but I held on and fully commit to finishing it and made something a bit more wholesome with Airy from One, as I know, they did love this character and they did like the more friendly macro stuff.
In the end, I still do miss them deeply, but bit by bit I’m recovering as I’m still holding on to hope, and I do want to say this to you guys,
Cherish your friends and family, you never quite know when things can go south, but still, at all times hold onto hope as there is always light in the darkness.
I’m sure of it.

My condoleances... i'm really sorry to hear that friend of yours passed away... losing a friend is always difficult and painful, i'm sure that friend must be happy about that drawing you made 🧡
Also that message of yours is extremely important, i do my best to enjoy the moments i spent with my friends or family because we can never guess what life plan for us...
