What if Rouge the Bat had a mom who taught her about thieving when she was growing up and even lets her use her old codename sometimes?
Mascara the Bat is a retired old rich woman who, in her prime, was a Thief named Facet, who retired after one final heist to raise her child. Eventually when Rouge expressed interest in the profession, she taught her everything she knew.

Canonically, Rouge DOES have a mom that she mentions occasionally, like in Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, or in Team Sonic Racing. But of course, that character STILL remains shrouded in mystery.
The only facts that we can gather about her, forementioned by Rouge, is that she was quite a strange, yet wise and caring mommy:
"Oh, great. Mama always told me that one day I'd get stuck in an alien planet without a change of clothes." - Chronicles
"Mama told me there'd be days like this." - TSR
Oh, to have her identity fully unveiled would be a stellar thrill for the community!
But despite that, I cannot deny that your OC looks absolutely GORGEGOUS!
