SO...after 35+ hours of work....here they are!
The magenta female hatchling(left) is named Sorrel and the blue female hatchling (right) is named Astrulean. The scanned butchered the darks once again...but ah well its something on here.
This is some moments after they've hatched, Searanox's nose is the red one and Azurea is the blue one
Az and I actually developed these together by naming traits and randomly flipping coins to make it seem much more realistic and surprising of what the hatchlings would look like. There is a cavern with one torch in the background, otherwise I didn't want to have the wall lined with tiny torches. The rock style is similar to the wall in this piece:

This is already my desktop background, I can see it being on a calender, or blown-up as a poster. Don't think I dun see your little wing symbol there on the coins by the eggshell, either. I see it there! We both always complain that the scanner ruins our work, I can't imagine the MAJESTY of what the real work looks like, if this is the scanner-murdered version.
The egg is much more detailed than I thought it would be, speckled and shaded like a round object should be. I'm impressed with the vivid details that're all over this piece. The coins must've been MURDER on your poor artistic hands, each and every coin looks like you must've taken a magnifying glass to it! I like that you made little piles, and didn't try to ink and shade every single coin, that would've REALLY made the piece look super busy and overly-complicated. That's not what you're goin' for here! Hell even the stalagtites looks just AMAZING, and they're way back there in the background! They look drippy and real, with just enough detail to only draw the eye if you really wanna stare at it. That "taken for granted" real, y'know? I apprieciate the tunnel too. It just keeps going back, and back, and back, hahaha!
Their expressions are just darling, and when I can put words into their mouths just looking at their expressions, you know you've got something special. The red says "omg whossat!? o_o" and the blue says "ohaithere, that feels nice. <3"
Absolutely magnificant hun, this is one of your finest masterpieces. Frankly, I think you should frame the real thing and hang it somewhere. If not, sell it and make a small bundle. This is one of the grandest displays of your raw talent that I've EVER seen. :)
