This is a draconequus oc of mine named Cherub.

This is Cherub, a draconequus made through cloning and genetic engineering. Created by Doctor Collie with assistance from Cloud Tech and The Syndicate, Cherub was made using DNA extracted from several individuals, including Sunny Starscout, Scarlet Fox, Aaron Ravencroft, Scales, and Dr. Collie herself. Scales' DNA is actually at the heart of Cherub, so he has some vague figments of his memories in him. It also means Cherub is still a child and due to his development around the same age as Sparky and Scales. Being a draconequus, Cherub has a chaotic spirit but has a more childish nature to his chaos. He's always in a playful mood, always wanting to play games and run around. He's wild, and will keep going until he runs out of energy.



After a three year project gathering DNA samples and applying them to Cherub, he was released onto Equestria by the Syndicate, which Collie's boss used to take over Equestria and overpower everyone including Scarlet, Sunny, and even the alicorns. Cherub took a strange interest in Zipp, as part she looked familiar to him due to Scales memories being in him. He would also take a fascination in Scales, who he abducts and takes to the palace in Zephyr Heights, which was taken over by the Syndicate. Not only that, Cherub was quick to turn much of Equestria into his own personal playroom, as well as turn many of it's inhabitants into toys. This includes the Mane Six, who he turned into toys when they tried to rescue Scales. However, Scales was somehow able to somewhat break the spell on Zipp, who was turned into a plush dragon by Cherub. Surprised to see a normal dragon instead of a plush one, Cherub was about to change her back when Scales intervened. With further convincing from Brenda Collie, who he sees as his own mother, Cherub was convinced to let Zipp move freely around the castle, despite still being a dragon and partially still under Cherub's control. Cherub still took orders from Brenda's boss, who he saw initially as his dad before he realized he was using him. With convincing from Zipp, Scales, and Brenda, Cherub chooses to turn against his perceived father and Brenda's former boss by changing the rest of the Mane Six back and keeping Scales safe during the battle. After being disciplined by Brenda, he also helps clean up the mess he made by freeing all the creatures he turned into toys, and maybe moving Zipp's bed back to her room. Cherub is close friends with Scales and Sparky, and still lives with Brenda Collie who he still sees as his mother.



Cherub was misguided by the Syndicate and who he perceived as his dad. But with Brenda, Zipp, and especially Scales' help, is shown the error of his ways. He may be powerful, but he's still a child at mind and heart. He also unintentionally helps Zipp better understand how much she means to Scales, especially after he called her Scales' Mom (to her surprise).
