was over at my Grandmothers today, and just had those moments,
where i wasn't drawing very well, or at least not as good as i wanted to,
and I came up with this bit of nonsense,
anywho, like the title "scratching at paper" i cant seem to do the things that
i want to do, this is just forced work that i want to do thats not coming out
the way i want it.
eh, hope you guys enjoy.
not really much here, but still fun to share.

Always, you may or may not try to write deep and meaningful things, but you do. Just this past week I sat and tried to come up with something solid for my comic, but I feel my real life would seem too mundane for the world to want to read. And I can never find that perfect punch line for something funny to put on paper. It's a similar problem. I don't have a destination, so how am I supposed to begin?
dont think like that,
drawing is just like writing, when you form certain shapes and patterns long enough,
it becomes easy to do frequent work and maintain it the same way a person does with their individual
lettering.
its not better or worse, its just different, or in other words "style"

I really like your garden/park scene to illustrate that the adventure is all about the journey.
As for moments through other moments: Perception is always about association, otherwise we wouldn't understand anything...or rather, be even more confused. Association is necessary to cope and survive, that's why evolution has shaped our brains that way.
Art is also a lot about association. How else would we translate lines on paper to a three-dimensional scene in our heads? How else would art be able to make us feel anything?
Granted, association keeps us from being unbiased. But the thing is to realize that we're all biased one way or another, to try and understand our biases and what's behind them in order to be more aware of them.
As for the destination: Maybe it could be curiosity? Maybe there's things on the way that could be fun?
