I commissioned 
for this piece as part of the Accidental Species Swap series that started with a suggestion from MrMopp on Patreon. Rose the Furtum and Yamri the Embris switched species due to an artifact mishap. The second image in the series explored Yamri's experience as a Furtum and I wanted to commission something exploring what being an Embris would allow Rose to experience. Furtums like Rose don't have a sense of taste (according to one reference sheet 'crunch' is about the highest sensation a Furtum is capable of which is why they have teeth). I wanted to see how Rose would react to the sensation of taste for the first time, a truly alien sensation for her. I was very happy to see Daaberlicious consider the other aspects such as Rose's mind still wanting to eat a lot more than her body needs to as an Embris. Good job Daaberlicious you captured a moment :D
