This week, I’m working on re-writes for Chapters 1-3 of Demo 2. As of this post, the script for Chapter 1 is finished, although it is missing some new images and models which may appear in a later version, and not this new demo. I have not decided whether I should use placeholders for these images or if I should simply not include them at all.

In the last report, I mentioned how Demo 2’s first few chapters are vastly different compared to the first demo. I recently finished re-arranging all of the scripts in the new demo, so the next step is to re-contextualize the scenes so that they flow together better (for example: the first guild meeting has been moved and Daren doesn’t know the names of any characters, so his interactions with them must be changed to accommodate for this). Having finished the tedious part of moving scenes around, I’m hoping to get a lot of stuff done on the script now.

In the meantime, here are some concept sketches for some of the characters! Sparrow, Lilith, and even Tower will be getting some design updates for the new demo, although for the most part they will just receive some clothing changes. Some other minor characters will receive much bigger changes, though.
