I never expected to come across such a rare find here.” He reached his free hand toward her, making her close her eyes with a soft whimper. He ran his hand over the coif on her head and slowly pulled it away, revealing her long gold hair.

“A what?” Maria asked as opened one eye slowly.
“You’re what we referred to as a pure soul. A truly rare find and highly coveted by all demons. Most souls get general wear and corruption from life, but in rare cases the soul remains basically completely untouched. The brightest and most pure it can be. I can’t let such a prize go without tasting it for myself” Shadow said as licked his lips slowly, his wings stretching out behind him. Casting their shadow over her in the moonlight.
