Malcolm Strauss - Heartthrob City's Finest Detective
"Focus, dammit! It's right in front of you…"Everyone, give a warm welcome to Malcolm Strauss the cynical, world-weary protagonist of “Musclebound Mysteries”
Strauss is a middle-aged German Shepherd working for the Heartthrob City Police Department (HCPD). He is portrayed as a "battle-hardened veteran" who takes corruption and vice seriously. A man of few vices.
At the beginning of his story, despite how much he denied it to himself, he felt a deep sense of isolation after his divorce from his wife, Martha, and his son, Jack went to college. This led him to become even more embittered by society in general.
Despite calling Heartthrob City his home, the “unofficial” capital of the hyper community, Strauss harbored a deep resentment towards said individuals as a whole; viewing them as symbols of excess, arrogance, and entitlement.
Regardless, this would soon come to a radical change once he was put in charge of a missing people's case…

From the very beginning of The Musclebound Mysteries, I knew I had a sort of epiphany when Malcolm was first introduced to us.
Middle-aged, cynical, misanthropic German shepherd with way too much problems for his own good, whose life was gonna take a huge flip once he was put in charge of a missing people's case, said people soon revealed that they were forcibly transformed into massive, absolutely huge, muscular, feral Hypers, with muscles way bigger than the standard Hyper.
And it's not like he was also going to undergo the radical muscle growth transformation as them during this affair... Am I wrong? 🤭🤭🤭
We were in for one hell of a huge ride, and I felt I was gonna love every second of it!
