Part of getting older has been going through a journey of introspection, my early life felt quite self-important, a lot of importance is put into one's personal goals, our eyes are so focused on our own goals that at times we can become blind to the issues or reasons others have for crossing our path, even if it is in a negative way, it's usually all about me, "why is this person inconveniencing me, don't they know I got important things going on?" it's easy to get blinded by this mindset and stop seeing strangers crossing your path as people, you start looking at them as inconveniences that are just making things more difficult for you. Which is why it's important to remind yourself at times that all the people who you come across are human beings like you and me, they're all people who live their own lives and deal with their own stress, worries and their own issues in every day life. It's certainly quite an effortful undertaking to hold this mindset with you at all times going forward, but I feel like it's a step in the right direction.
