As expected, Niko grew more and more huge, easily destroying the furniture around their body
As their head bumped the ceiling, the once small "kitty" tried to crouch down, but to no use
Niko quickly outgrew the old house they were in!
Stepping outside, the soil was surprisingly soft...
Or maybe it was just their increasing weight starting to take effect, leaving small craters as footprints
At this point, even houses were quickly starting to look like just miniature models
Niko stood there, confused about what was happening
But every moment that passed, every breath that they took, another bunch of centimeters was added to their height
Now easily reaching almost 10 meters tall, they decided to search for someone, any person that could help them with their mission of saving this world (and maybe not outgrowing it)!!
After some help of a few tiny people, Niko finally reaches Glen!
It wasn't a very long walk, their now big stature made traveling way faster
Funny enough, the once very tall mountains of Glen, supposed to tower over the inhabitants of the area, could barely reach Niko's waist anymore!
But their size was becoming a concerning problem as he found two very sweet people, wearing bird like clothes, or at least that's what Niko could see of them
They were TINY, almost ant sized to the big messiah, that now shook the ground with each step
Still, even being around 40 meters tall, Niko was extra cautious to not crush anything, or bump into a hill and make it crumble like a sand castle
In the end, with the help of these two little people, Niko finally reached the end of Glen, arriving the purple complex of buildings of the Refuge
But one thing was noticeable, their growth was exponential, and was getting very out of hand.
Niko's eyes shone with the beautiful lights of the Refuge
Everything was so small, the buildings couldn't reach their knees anymore!
100... 120... 150 meters...
Each second that passed, the messiah got more and more massive, becoming a living monument
200... 300... 450 meters...
Surprisingly, even at this size, being as heavy as a mountain, nothing really got destroyed beneath them
Like if the power that came from the Sun, that fuels the growth, was also protecting everything around them!
And Niko stood there, smiling all the time, enjoying the view, as people stared back, some scared, others in awe by their colossal cuteness
When they took a step, the entire Refuge trembled, like if a huge earthquake was happening.
They were not sure where to go, the Sun was supposed to be placed in a big tower around there, but there were two problems...
The Sun was HUGE, this lamp was like an enormous meteor, how could it fit inside the said tower??
And the buildings below Niko were starting to blend together to him, being 1 kilometer tall really made it hard to see even the tallest buildings, that tower included!
What Niko didn't expect, is that this tower was actually very close...
Close to his foot!
It was small enough for them to not notice it, but big enough for the Messiah to "kick" it in the middle of a step!
The tower was surprisingly sturdy, only gently bending it's tip as Niko's foot touched it
But most important, it made Niko lose their balance and trip, almost falling on the ground, sending the Sun flying in the air!
THOOOM!!!
The entire area shook, like if a meteor fell down!
Niko gasped, getting back on their feet desperate, quickly running to check if the sun got broke!
With steps that could cover entire city blocks, Niko approached the lamp, it's impact causing a cloud of dust that could cover the entire downtown
Hopefully everything was okay, the Sun didn't get damaged, and despite all the damage, no one got hurt!
Niko promised to be more careful and apologized to the entire Refuge, as he held the Sun again, starting to grow once more
They were not sure what to do anymore, and their growth was getting faster
Soon enough, every single area could fit in a single step of the Messiah, and they kept growing...
How massive will the colossal "cat" get?
If it keeps going like that, this world will actually have a Sun for good!
And a "kitty" guardian to take care of it!
