couldn't choose which lighting i liked better, so i stuck them together so you can look at both.
the number one best thing about colored pencils is getting beautiful rich colors out of them that i REALLY struggle to do with digital art. i don't have to think about picking good colors myself, the pencil does that for me. so the obvious next step is finding pencil colors that mix in appealing ways. it's a lot of fun.
the reason i chose unnatural colors for the baby goat was actually because i don't have any nice brown pencils. i tried mixing pink and peach with gray and red and got nowhere close to brown, so i gave up and started mixing colors based on interest, lol.
the blue goat is referenced from an image, but i drew it to look somewhat like my fursona.
