Depending on when he evolves, and how tall both of them end up when they're older as they still have room to grow naturally as they age. Even when Evan becomes a Gardevoir, it could easily go either way. Maybe a little taller. Maybe Nathan still ends up taller. Maybe they end up about the same height.
Admittedly, the idea of Nathan remaining the taller one is cute.
